Stray Reeds, named after the famous Stray in Harrogate, North Yorkshire (UK), is a small company specialising in high quality hand-made oboe reeds and cor anglais reeds. Oboe reeds can be purchased in various strengths and also made to individual requirements. All oboe and cor anglais reeds are guaranteed and can be returned if not suitable.
To purchase my products you can add them to your basket by selecting the reed you require on the shop page, then selecting the strength and the required quantity. Just click add to basket. To purchase, click the basket link. Feel free to register for an account, it will save you having to type in all your details on your return. You can pay by credit/debit card or Paypal. Postage & packing is charged in the UK at £3.50 per box of reeds, regardless of how many you order. International orders are charged at £8.50 per box as these are tracked.
I produce oboe reeds with a dark sound in all strengths but they can be produced with a lighter tone if this is required.
All oboe and cor anglais reeds are carefully handcrafted from selected cane and tied to high quality staples. Please note that as all reeds are made by me, delays can occur when large numbers are ordered..
